Proposal for RCE Collaborative Projects on Sustainable Health

Greetings from RCE Penang!

As one of the outcomes from the last meeting we had in USM, we are
proposing a collaborative project on the subject of Sustainable
Health. While they are many other subjects that have been discussed
and to be followed up, this particular topic is chosen based on
interest shown by some RCE to participate in the program.

Given the broad area of the topic and the fact that individual RCE may
have different interesting ideas and proposal on how to go about it,
we are circulating the idea to all with intention to initiate
discussion
on developing the specific issues for the project both in terms of
content and mechanism to carry it out.

As to start the ball rolling, RCE Penang is proposing a joint workshop
in Malaysia and we have had a prelim discussion with UNU-IAS and UNU
IIGH who agreed to work together on the workshop.

This workshop will be preceded by the preparatory work identifying
situation in the regions and that the joined workshop will be focusing
on the identifying common project and programmes for actions among the
RCEs.

We look forward to hear from you all.
