Ecomuseums Toolkit Now Available

Please see this important email message from Glenn Sutter regarding the availability of a new ecomuseums toolkit (attached below)!--Roger

Hi everyone,

As chair of the Steering Committee for the Saskatchewan Ecomuseums Initiative, I am pleased to attach an important document that we have been working on over the last few months. Written mostly by James Ingold and recently published by Heritage Saskatchewan and the Museums Association of Saskatchewan, it offers a framework or “toolkit” that organizations and communities can use to help an ecomuseum get underway, or to flourish where the idea has already taken root.

Through this note, I’m sending this document to over 60 people who are interested in or actively working with ecomuseums, with copies to the Steering Committee. Please feel free to forward it to others who might want to know about the model, along with this link to the ecomuseum portion of the Heritage Saskatchewan website: https://heritagesask.ca/reframing-heritage/community-development/ecomuseums.

If you would prefer to have physical copies of the document, just shoot me an email with your mailing address and how many you need.

Cheers!

Glenn
