Dr. Vandana Shiva will challenge and motivate you with her sharp intellectual enquiry and courageous activism. An environmental and anti-globalization activist, Dr. Shiva has contributed in fundamental ways to changing the practice and paradigms of agriculture and food, to our understanding of intellectual property rights and biotechnology, and to the perception of women in the developing world. In November 2010, Forbes Magazine identified Dr. Shiva as one of the "Seven Most Powerful Women on the Globe". Do not miss this lecture!

Brought to you through a partnership with the Regina Public Interest Research Group and the U of R Women's Centre and SCIC. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. with lecture at 7:30 pm.
