Saskatoon's Green Energy Park ESD Project: June 17 Celebration (Saskatoon)

You are invited to attend a project celebration for our Green Energy Park – Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) project, with students from the Aden Bowman Collegiate Earthkeepers Program and the University of Saskatchewan’s School of Environment and Sustainability.  His Worship – Mayor Don Atchison will be in attendance to personally thank each student for their contribution to this unique project, designed to educate and engage the public about the importance of a sustainable electrical system to our environment and local economy.

This project will also be recognized by RCE Saskatchewan (Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development, as acknowledged by the United Nations University), for its contribution to Education for Sustainable Development.  Lyle Benko – Co-Coordinator RCE Saskatchewan will be in attendance to present the Award of Recognition to the students.

Date:  Friday, June 17

Time:  9:00am (short program followed by informal reception)

Place:  Saskatoon Light & Power (322 Brand Road – southwest of the Circle Drive South and Clarence Avenue Interchange at the entrance to the Auto Mall)

Parents of Aden Bowman Earthkeepers program students are welcome to attend.  Please RSVP by June 10 .

Limited parking is available in the lot in front of Saskatoon Light & Power, or on-street parking is available on Brand Road.
