Earthkeepers is a semester-length integrated program for grade 10 students, offered at Aden Bowman Collegiate in Saskatoon. The program aims to equip students with the skills and values necessary for sustainable living, active citizenship and life-long learning. Earthkeepers began in the spring semester of the 2008-09 school year, and is currently running, for the second time, this semester.

This program is ongoing.  It runs for one semester each school year.

An integrated curriculum and a variety of student centered learning styles are used to create meaningful action-based learning experiences for the students as they investigate the themes of Natural Systems, Self Sufficiency and Community Development.Earthkeepers is building capacity for sustainable development through individual student learning and through the program’s positive influence on our entire school culture. Students at Aden Bowman are acquiring the skills and values that will allow them to make responsible, socially-conscious contributions to their communities, both now and in the future.
